Chloe Clark PTA Events & Programs :: 2009-2010
Incoming Kindergarten Playdate (July & August) :: Incoming Kindergarteners and families get an opportunity to meet each other and play in the park in the summer before school starts.
Explorer Track Club (September-June) :: Chloe Clark students keep track of laps that they run around the outdoor paved track. Students are recognized for running a Marathon and beyond! Ready-Set-Read! (November-June) :: Students who read 10 hours each month receive a coupon from Farrelli's Pizza for a FREE Kids' Meal! Popcorn Friday (September-June) :: Fresh-popped popcorn is available each Friday for Chloe Clark students -- only 25ยข per bag (limit 4 per student)!

Box Tops Store (October 7, December 2, February 3, April 14, June 2) :: Chloe Clark students turn in Box Tops at our "store" every other month to redeem for trinkets and prizes. Proceeds from the Box Tops Store go to the PTA's general fund. **PTA General Membership Meeting & Fall Coffee Social (September 16, 2009) :: Election of Nominating Committee and discussion of other PTA business.
Fitness For Fun Night (September 25, 2009) :: Annual health and fitness event celebrating different sports. This family fun event gives children the opportunity to try different activities, including gymnastics, yoga, golf, and wrestling.

WSPTA Focus Day (January 18, 2010) :: Organized by the Washington State PTA, this annual event features march and rally at the Capitol Steps in Olympia, where parents and kids can see first-hand our government in action! Family Math Night (January 26, 2010) :: The whole family is invited to try their had at logic puzzles and math games. Parents can learn more about the curriculum at Chloe Clark while students learn how fun math can be!

Assembly ~ The NED Show (February 17, 2010) :: The mission of The NED Show is to encourage and inspire students everywhere -- there is a champion in every kid! The NED Show promotes academic achievement and character development by teaching three critical skills that will benefit kids for a lifetime: Never Give Up; Encourage Others; and Do Your Best. Staff Appreciation Week (May 3-7, 2010) :: We love Chloe Clark teachers and staff, and this is our chance to let them know!
Assembly ~ Peter and the Wolf (May 6, 2010) :: Performance of this classic children's tale by the Philharmonic Wind Quartet. Field Trip Assembly ~ Charlotte's Web (May 19, 2010) :: The entire school travels to Olympia to watch Charlotte's Web (part of the Olympia Junior Program (OJP)).
Explorers' Run 4 Fun (May 22, 2010) :: Annual 5K run/walk and 1/2-mile Kids' Dash for the whole community! The 5K route winds through DuPont's beautiful scenic trails. This event is our major spring fundraiser (proceeds go to our capital fund).

Chloe Clark Night at the Tacoma Rainiers (May 27, 2010) :: Chloe Clark students and families sit together to cheer on the Tacoma Rainiers as they take on the Oklahoma City RedHawks!
